Kiwanis Builder’s Clubs provide middle-school aged students with opportunities to develop leadership, improve self-esteem, increase civic engagement and learn life skills through service. Builder’s Club empowers them to be themselves, work together with friends and implement plans through action. Through Builder’s Club, students become leaders at school, in the community and in the world.
Builder’s Club is a student-led community service organization, sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club, that operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body.
In our community, the Wilsonville Kiwanis Club sponsors the Builder’s Club at Wood Middle School. Also known as “Junior Scoops”, the club is famous for developing and operating an ice cream business that helps support their community service activities.
